Program Leader

Putney Student Travel has been crafting transformative summer programs for 74 years, offering experiential education to students in grades 6-12. Our programs, ranging from eight days to four weeks, span the globe—from New York to Namibia and the Gulf of California to Kilimanjaro. We seek educators, mentors, and professionals eager to facilitate immersive, educational, and fun global experiences. While most leaders hold a bachelor’s degree, we value diverse paths and relevant experience. Leaders should have experience mentoring students in dynamic environments, fostering cultural exchange, and ensuring safety. Self-motivation, organization, flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor are key. Preference is given to those with significant time in program destinations and/or proficiency in local languages.
